How much do the films cost?

GiveVisuals is a nonprofit for nonprofits. Simple, but true. The concept is so simple, in fact, that we get many questions about whether it is too good to be true.

It isn’t.

We have a built a network of talented, professional filmmakers who want to give back. They are willing to give their time in service to emerging nonprofits who are looking to tell their story. There is no cost to work with GiveVisuals.

How are the nonprofits selected?

Nonprofits apply to work with us from all over the world. We love seeing the wide variety of good humans from all over the world, making a mark in their own way. We wish that we could choose them all.

On a quarterly basis, our board of directors review the applications we’ve received and select the number of projects that we can support. We are currently able to support 5-7 nonprofit projects per calendar year.

What kinds of films are created?

Each nonprofit is unique, and the needs of each story are unique. We work with nonprofits closely in the planning process of their film to help them determine how to best depict their storytelling needs. The films we create are typically 3-5 minutes in length, and usually a documentary style or narrative, or in some cases, a combination of both.
